The guarantee term will be a maximum of 10 years from the date the transaction is formalized. During this same period, the home must be the beneficiary's primary residence and may not be rented, except in certain circumstances:
- Job transfer: If the beneficiary of the guarantee receives a job transfer to a different city or town, they could temporarily rent the home while residing in the new location.
- Marital separation: If the home is the family home and a marital separation occurs, the beneficiary of the guarantee could rent the home while the process is resolved.
- Marriage celebration: If the home is the beneficiary's primary residence and they get married, they could rent the home temporarily to avoid being forced to reside in the couple's new home.
- Obtaining a first job or a more advantageous job: If the beneficiary of the guarantee finds a job that requires a change of residence, they could temporarily rent the home while working in the new location.
